Prefecture of Seine-Maritime and capital of Normandy, Rouen is a medium-sized city with a population of approximately 110,000 people within the city walls. The city is easily accessible from Paris by train (a journey of about 1 hour and 20 minutes from Saint-Lazare station). Located in the city center, on the right bank of the Seine, Rouen station is just a few steps away from many hotels of all categories, restaurants, shops, and tourist sites. The conference was held at the Faculty of Law, Management and Economics of the University of Rouen (3 avenue Pasteur), in the heart of the city, just a stone’s throw from the “Place du Vieux Marché”, a historic site where Joan of Arc was burned on 30 May, 1431.

Note that the Faculty is served by TEOR T1, T2 and T3 lines of the Astuce network, Pasteur stop. However, as Rouen is a small city, we strongly recommend walking. There is also a free bike-sharing system called Lovélo.
